Committed to inspiring every female leader to be unstoppable in her success

About Amy

Our founder and CEO Amy Green, is committed to inspiring female leaders to be unstoppable in their success.

Amy is a senior sales executive and personal branding expert, with over 20 years experience in strategic sales, marketing and branding with global technology companies.  She is perpetually optimistic, and inspires those around her through her energy, passion and drive. Amy wants to make people feel special, always. Customer obsession is at the forefront of everything that she does and that is evident in every touch point of her interaction with her clients..

Amy has worked with many talented women striving to get ahead in their industry. They all have the knowledge, skills and experience to move into leadership roles, but have often held back their ambition by their fear of not being good enough, not having the right sponsors and support, or believing they had to confirm to be “someone else” to fit in.

Amy decided to focus her experience, knowledge and entrepreneurial passion in setting up Atomic Inspire, with a mission to help women elevate their confidence, articulate their brand message and lead from a place of purpose and intent.

Inspiring the next generation

As a proud mum of two, Amy is often seen with her daughter at the Women in Technology WA (WiTWA) community meet up’s! She is passionate about having visible female role models that can inspire the future generation of women to enjoy the endless possibilities and opportunities available in technology careers. Through her volunteering work at WiTWA she is actively involved in TechTrails, visiting schools to generate passion, excitement and interest to inspire young people to consider careers in technology and science.

Amy has experienced first hand the challenges of returning to work after parental leave and the common feeling we tend to have as women trying to juggle and succeed at multiple important roles. A lot of managers tend not to reach out during this period of leave, however Amy believes what we actually need is an individual action plan, tailored to each person, with a runway back into work which starts well before the return-to-work date. This needs to be carefully designed, with an understanding of the challenges involved in rejoining an organisation that may have changed, culturally and strategically, during the period of absence.

Amy is passionate about using her learnings and experiences to support other women who are looking to re-gain confidence and the courage to re-enter the workforce. Personal branding plays an important role in helping individuals gain the clarity and confidence in shaping one’s vision and purpose, and future career path.

Amy is an experienced strategic sales professional at global technology company Salesforce in Perth, WA. In 2021, during her parental leave, she worked with her team to create and launch the EmpowerHER Program, a 16 week program in partnership between Salesforce and WiTWA to upskill women across WA in Salesforce skills and leadership skills. Amy and the team continue to support and inspire women across WA to enter new careers in the technology industry and Salesforce ecosystem.

EmpowerHER

Women in tech

As a member on the Diversity, Inclusion & Equality sub-committee (DEI) at WiTWA, Amy has been heavily invested in WiTWA’s programs to advise companies on strategies that promote diverse and inclusive workplaces. The latest data (Feb 2020) shows that female employees make up between 28 percent (Microsoft) and 42 percent (Amazon) of the total workforce at America's largest tech companies, the so-called GAFAM group. That percentage drops much lower, as women take up fewer than 1 in 4 technical roles*.

PwC have recently published their Women in Work index for 2023. The results sadly show a downturn of the number of women in work.

According to a 2020 study by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), by encouraging more women to pursue careers in tech, the industry can tap into a broader talent pool. Tech companies benefit from diverse skills, experiences and ideas, resulting in a more adaptable and resilient workforce. This adaptability translates into a competitive advantage which contributes to increased profitability.

Embracing diversity is a key driver of sustained economic success for our businesses, our people and our clients. Atomic’s mission is to encourage women to be bold, to follow their passions and go after their endeavours with confidence.
